Set on a steep hill within Ketchum city limits, the John Residence provided a variety of design challenges. In order to maximize outdoor living area, stone walls were used to terrace the site, creating confortable private space as a result.
Stone retaining walls provide space for a variety of plantings and help mitigate site topography.
