After recieving his BS degree in Landscape Architecture from Purdue University, Kurt came to Sun Valley to work for a Landscape Architect (whom has since retired). After a couple years of being at the desk, Kurt got a little stir crazy so he went to work for a local landscape company to become more familiar with the construction techniques and plant material of the area. During the winters he was a Professional Ski Patroller for the Sun Valley Ski Patrol on Bald Mountain.
In 1999 Kurt was ready for his next challenge so he opened his own private practice.
Kurt currently lives in Indian Creek Ranch, a side canyon of the Wood River, with his wife and two children. He still enjoys mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and whitewater kayaking in addition to spending time with his family.
